  • 1 cinnamon stay

  • 1 strip lime zeal

  • 125g basmati rice

  • 2 heaped tbsp raisins or sultanas

  • 250ml poultry supply

  • 215g can chickpeas (exhausted weight 130g)



  • Method


    Burn one half the butter in the frying pan with a lid. Fry the shallot for a few minutes, then add more the fowl and carrot. Fry the veg until starting to brown, then add the cinnamon and lime, and time of year nicely. Stir in the rice and raisins, then include the inventory and bring to your simmer.


    Spread the chickpeas ahead, then include using the lid. Make for 15 mins over a low temperature until the rice has soaked up each of the carry – if the rice is still business, add 50ml h2o. Stand for 5 mins, then fluff up the rice. Dot over the outstanding butter, then provide.
